Buy an ELM327 Bluetooth adapter
VEEPEAK Mini (~$18), BAFX (~$22), or OBDLink MX+ (~$100)

Plug into your OBD2 port
Under the dashboard, driver's side. Every car since 1996.

Turn ignition to ON
Engine can stay off. Adapter LED will light up.

Pair Bluetooth in Android settings
Settings → Bluetooth. Default PIN: 1234 or 0000

Tap Connect Bluetooth above
Chrome device picker → select your adapter
